House Republicans Introduce Bill to Withdraw Funding from Globalist’s World Economic Forum
“The wealthy WEF globalists should not receive Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars,” said Rep. Tiffany.
“The Defund Davos Act would ensure that U.S. tax dollars are not funding the World Economic Forum and their reset on our way of life. I thank Congressman Perry for leading this important effort.”
The World Economic Forum (WEF), founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, has come under scrutiny for its influence on government policies around the world.
The phrase “You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy” is associated with the WEF and its agenda for what it calls the “Great Reset.” The “Great Reset” is a proposal by the WEF to rebuild the economy sustainably following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Congress Passes Bill to Avert Government Shutdown, Sends Measure to Biden’s Desk
Congress has approved stopgap funding legislation one day before a government deadline, sending the measure to President Joe Biden’s desk for his signature.
House Democrats joined Republicans to pass the measure on the evening of Jan. 18 in a 314–108 vote.
Earlier in the day, the Senate approved the bill in a 77–18 vote.
The legislation extends the deadline for Congress to pass its annual appropriations bills to March 1 and March 8. The move marks Congress’ third stopgap spending bill in four months.

House Republicans Announce New Date For Hunter Biden Deposition
House Republicans announced on Thursday that Hunter Biden will appear next month for a deposition, signaling an end to a standoff in the impeachment inquiry into his father, President Joe Biden, for the first son’s testimony.
Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) shared the news in a brief statement that included interview plans for other witnesses.
7 GOP Senators Don't Sign SCOTUS Brief to Keep Trump on Ballot
Although 42 Republican senators — including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., — signed onto a Supreme Court brief supporting former President Donald Trump's effort to remain on the 2024 presidential ballot, there were seven GOP holdouts. Led by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., and supported by 177 other members of Congress, the brief was filed "in support of Petitioner Donald J. Trump."
The seven Republican Senate holdouts are: Rand Paul, R-Ky., Mitt Romney, R-Utah, Susan Collins, R-Maine, Bill Cassidy, R- La., Steve Daines, R-Mont., Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Todd Young, R-Ind.
