Dems are switching side in key state at double rate of Republicans

More Democratic voters in Pennsylvania are switching to the GOP than Republican voters are switching to the Democratic Party, a problematic trend for President Joe Biden in his quest to win the Keystone State in 2024.

In 2023, 35,589 Democrats switched to the Republican Party in the swing state, while only 15,622 Republicans flipped over to the Democratic Party, according to the state’s voter registration data as of Dec. 18.

GOP Rep bucks the establishment with 2024 endorsements

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is disrupting the Republican Party’s efforts to avoid contested primaries, including in races with GOP incumbents, ahead of must-win general election races next year.

Gaetz is endorsing insurgent candidates in contests where former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) or the National Republican Congressional Committee, the party’s House campaign arm, have thrown their support toward their own candidates of choice.

GOP Lawmakers Crafting Legislation to Remove Joe Biden From 2024 Ballots

Republican lawmakers in at least three states are already working on legislation to remove President Joe Biden from the 2024 ballot after the Colorado Supreme Court removed former President Donald Trump from that state’s ballot earlier this week, claiming he incited an “insurrection” on Jan. 6, 2021.

Black Voters Aren’t Happy With Biden’s Campaign Outreach According To Group Of Democratic Strategists

Several top Democrats are concerned about President Biden’s prospects in 2024 due to lower Black voter turnout, among other challenges.

A group of Democrats is offering a new analysis of the most recent campaigns in Georgia and Michigan, pitching those battlegrounds as models for drawing in more Black voters next year and beyond.

They argue that Democratic power players need to think — and spend money — in new ways, going beyond efforts that can be last-minute or superficial as they try to reassemble Biden’s 2020 coalition.
